Crowned by everyone's favorite food holiday (Thanksgiving), November is the time of year when we all say "oh dang, winter really is here," then we buckle down and start figuring out what indoor fun will help us pass the time.

This year will mark the 10th anniversary of the Chillin ‘n Swillin Beer Festival. Many other beer festivals are run by paid organizers, but this fest is strictly 100% volunteer. No one receives any pay, which means there are no administrative costs. 100% of their profits will stay locally to benefit their own community. Boulder IPA Fest
Boulder, CO. - Nov 8
One type of beer is on full display at the 3rd annual Boulder IPA Fest - IPA. From floral to tart, spicy, dry-hopped or wet, America's favorite beer style is celebrated in full form high up in the Rockies, at Avery Brewing Company. Great International Beer Festival (Fall Edition)
Providence, RI - Saturday, Nov. 8
Welcome to the Northeast's largest international beer festival, where your golden ticket gives you access to an unlimited sampling of more than 250 brewers' specialties. This is a particularly special event this year, because the festival turns 21, the legal drinking age! San Diego Brewers Guild Festival
San Diego, CA - Friday, Nov. 7 - Sat. Nov. 8
This is the 12th year running that the Brewers Guild of San Diego has taken over downtown San Diego. It's such a big deal that it takes place over two days, and benefits Surfrider Foundation, Fight ALD, and the San Diego Brewers Guild. Brew Your Cask Off
Atlanta, GA – Saturday, Nov. 8
Craft beer enthusiasts love to get their hands on one-of-a-kind beers. Well, you'll have your wish at the 5th annual Brew Your Cask Off, where 90 guests (not all of them brewers) will roll up their sleeves and create a unique cask of beer, under the watchful eye of Atlanta-based SweetWater's brewers. This is a chance to see how well laymen fare when they get their hands on a brewer's special equipment, and you get to taste and judge the entries.
