The 2017 Half Full Brewery CanToberfest is an Octoberfest style event featuring a true "garden" themed Pop Up Beer Garden, Lawn Games, a Can Stein Hoist Competition and some of the best Food Trucks around. The festival is held in support of the Mill River Park Collaborative and will take place on The North Lawn & Grand Steps in Mill River Park in downtown Stamford. Tickets for this event are $15 and include 1 Free Beer Ticket and admittance into the park. EVENT MAP OFFICIAL KICKOFF Ever wanted to see Stamford's own, Tom Madden kickoff a huge party? Don't miss the official event kickoff at 6:30pm sharp. LAWN GAMES AND CAN STEIN HOIST COMPETITION We'll have Kan Jam, Cornhole, Giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4, and Keg Toss. For the Can Stein Hoist Competition, we'll take the first 20 people who sign up by 7:30pm. The Can Stein Hoist will kick off promptly at 8pm with prizes for the top 3 finishers. FOOD TRUCKS Get ready for HAPA, Magee’s Curbside, PitoSofrito, Bang Burger, Crazy Taco Mex, Nosh Hound, Dough Girls, and M.O.C. Eatery! We've asked each truck to put an Octoberfest spin on a menu item so be on the lookout for some original eats with a German kick... BEER We'll have both cans (it is CanToberfest, afterall) and draft available. Beer tickets will be available for $5 / ticket. Beer will be available for purchase from 6PM - 9:30PM (the event will end at 10PM). 100% of beer sales will be donated to the Mill River Park Collaborative. TUNES We'll have 'Melina & The Oompahs playing authentic German music! 'Melina & the Oompahs' put on a high energy Oktoberfest show with music from traditional German Oompah to hits from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's through now. Melina grew up in Germany and resides in NYC. She has put together a program which will take you on a musical ride based on the Original Oktoberfest in Munich/Germany where she has performed. Don't miss it! ABOUT THE MILL RIVER PARK COLLABORATIVE Mill River Park Collaborative is a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to create and sustain a world-class park in Downtown Stamford. The board of the Collaborative includes representation from the City of Stamford, Stamford Partnership, Downtown Special Services District, the West Side and Downtown communities, Urban Redevelopment Commission, the corporate community and Stamford at large. The Collaborative was established as a public/private partnership that would “provide collaborative leadership in creating and sustaining a successful Mill River Park.” A portion of the net proceeds (ticket sales/sponsorships) and 100% of beer sales are being donated to The Mill River Park Collaborative to further their mission of creating and sustaining a world-class park in Downtown Stamford.
