18th Annual Bockfest

Every February, thousands of beer lovers brave the Wisconsin winter weather to warm up with the award winning taste of Capital Brewery’s Blonde Dopplebock™ and it’s “lighter “cohort Capital Brewery Maibock. This year also brings a special edition Dark Dopplebock into the mix, available for the first time in 3 years! What started as the legendary Polar Bear Beer Club™ has become one of the best known premier events in the Midwest. Capital Brewery’s families of Dopplebocks and Maibock have been satisfying beer lovers for over 18 years. These amped up beers have won a multitude of awards, domestic and international over the past 18 years. Our Capital Blonde and Maibock have over a dozen awards each and our Dark Dopplebock also has won several gold medals. Capital has been celebrating the annual release of Blonde Dopplebock for 18 years and the event has grown to become a favorite for beer lovers across the country. Bockfest features great beer, fun, food, music, costumes and the annual Running of the Blondes™ 1K race.
