Your favorite Oktoberfest is back for its 5th year! The Cincinnati Craft Brewers’ Oktoberfest is generally the last one of the season and has a unique twist the others do not. At this fest, there is only ONE Oktoberfest beer served, while the others are all beers brewed in Cincinnati. This year the festival is being held October 14th and 15th at Listermann Brewing Company in Norwood, Ohio. The idea behind Oktoberfest is to celebrate the arrival of fall, fall beers and, of course, Cincinnati. There is no cost to attend this family and dog friendly Oktoberfest, just pay for whatever you eat and drink! The celebration goes from Friday at 5 pm until midnight and Saturday from Noon until 11 pm. The breweries involved are: Blank Slate, Fifty West, Christian Morelein, Rock Bottom, Rivertown, Mt. Carmel, Madtree, Cellar Dweller, Wiedemann, Quaff Bros, Rhinegeist, Triple Digit, Bad Tom Smith Taft's Ale House , Braxton and Listermann, with more sure to come. Listermann Brewing Company has teamed up with the Cincideutsch to host the event. They will be bringing an authentic German feel to the festival, as well as booths, banners and parades to talk about their club. Like the Volksfest and Starkbier Fest previously held at LBC, this event will be family and dog friendly. More info on the music and food venders will be provided later.
