Craft Brew Smackdown

The Greater Albany Rotary Club, Historic Carousel and the Albany Downtown Association cordially invite you to join us for the Craft Brew Smackdown taking place on Septembeer 16th, 2016 from 3pm to 8pm. The Craft Brew Smackdown brings breweries, cider houses and distilleries into downtown Albany small business storefronts so that the public can "taste" beer and cider and visit with local business owners. Tickets are $20 for a tasting glass and ten tasting tickets; you will be able to buy additional tickets along the beer route. You will be able to purchase advance tickets at the Albany Visitors Association at 110 E 3rd St two weeks before the event. On the day of the event, you will be able to purchase tickets and get your mug and map at the Albany Visitors Association at the corner of 3rd & Lyon. You will need to provide proof of age at time of purchase. In 2015, we had 25 locations pouring beer, cider or spirits including: Calapooia Brewing Company, Block 15, New Belgium, Pelican Brewing, Wildcraft Cider Works, Basecamp Brewing, Sky High Brewing, Mazama Brewing, 4 Spirits Distillery, Hard Times Distiller, Oakshire Brewing Co., Seven Brides, Gilgamesh Brewing, Deluxe Brewing, Vagabond Brewing, 3 Sheets Brewery, 2 Towns Ciderhouse, Vivacity Spirits, Flat Tail Brewery, 21st Amendment and more! We have 23 reserved for 2016 right now! The Downtown Trolley will be traveling the route and you can catch it - for FREE! - to take to your next tasting destination. Towards the end of the evening, the Downtown Trolley will be taking participants - for FREE!!! - to Calapooia Brewing Company and Deluxe Brewing for the two Smackdown After Partys! This event is presented by the Greater Albany Rotary Club as a fundraiser for The Greater Albany Rotary Club, The Albany Historic Carousel & Museum and the Albany Downtown Association.
