Come celebrate the start of spring at the 23rd Annual Fairfax Brewfest Saturday March 17 at the Pavilion in downtown Fairfax, California. Hosted by the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce and Iron Springs Pub and Brewery, the Fairfax Brewfest is also a lively St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Beer geeks arrive early with their “to do” lists of beers to sample, brewers look forward to rubbing elbows with their fans, lively cajun music provides a toe tapping ambience, and the sun always shines on our outdoor patio. Coming off SF Beer week everyone knows that craft brewing is absolutely on fire, so this year in addition to our traditional favorites we’ll showcase new faces on the local brewing scene. Invitations have gone out to a dozen or more fledgling brewers so stand by for announcements. Last year’s newest brewers include Headlands Brewing, Fort Point, 101 North Brewing, Sonoma Springs, and brand new Stateroom Brewing of San Rafael. And of course our faithful regulars are all on board. Tickets for the Fairfax Brewfest are $40.00 advance online and in pubs, $50.00 at the door.
