Fayetteville Gumbo Cookoff

This inaugural event will be held March 5 at the Historic Ozark Mountain Smokehouse, located just West of the Wal-Mart on Highway 62. Teams will be cooking up their best gumbo recipes on site in hopes in winning this annual judged competition and taking home prize money and the trophy for most loved gumbo. Numerous Local breweries will be selling their finest brews to wash down the tasty gumbo and live music will be filling the air. Come join the fun and help raise funding for the Fayetteville Natural Heritage Foundation for the Mount Kessler Reserve.
