The Finger Lakes Riesling & Craft Beer Festival celebrates the Finger Lakes as one of the world’s top Riesling viticulture regions and premier wine destinations. Since its inception in 2008, the festival has grown in size year over year. The festival brings together so much that makes our region so remarkable. Gathered all in one place are more than 100 vendors, including nearly 20 wineries, 12 breweries, restaurants, cheese makers, artists, craftsmen and musicians. The festival is set along the Canandaigua City Pier adjacent to the New York Wine & Culinary Center. The festival gives attendees a great chance to sample the region’s many fine offerings: Riesling tastings and seminars, craft beer tastings, New York artisan cheese samplings and a harvest-fresh farmers market with vendors galore. In its seven years, the festival has raised $230,000 to benefit the Greater Canandaigua Family YMCA and the New York Wine & Culinary Center, with attendance topping 30,000.
