In celebration of the 25th anniversary of The Free State Brewery downtown and the 5th anniversary of the production brewery in east Lawrence, Free State welcomes the public to attend an open house at the production and bottling facility at 1923 Moodie Road Saturday July 19th from 1:00-4:00. This family friendly event will feature tours of the plant guided by Free State’s brewers and staff. Food, Free State beer and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase with proceeds going to benefit the Health Care Access Clinic, which provides medical care to the uninsured in Douglas County.
