Awww sookie sookie now….are you ret’ to go??? It has been a crazy, crazy intense summer for us. We just got out on the lake/boat last week for the first time this summer. Insane, right??? Yes, we know! Ball Festival is life. Anybody who knows us personally knows that we dig basketball history and do quite a bit of work for former pro (and semi-pro) basketball players and BALL IS LIFE is what they often say to us. But ‘festival is life’ applies to us at least 7-8 months out of the year. Running a grassroots festival is a lot like being in a relationship with the person you always thought you wanted to be with. Once you get into the relationship you start reverting to the historian vs. being the storyteller. You think about previous relationships and you wonder is this self-depreciating and victimizing and self-sabotage thing going to happen to me again???
