Inaugural Ale Harvest Fest

The inaugural Ale Harvest Fest, scheduled for Saturday, October 11th from 1:00-5:00 PM in Westmont’s Ty Warner Park, will feature over 80 unique beers from 40 brewers across the country with an emphasis on the hop harvest and other fall beers. We are also excited to announce that the fest will host the final round of the Illinois Pro-Am Brew Championship. Contestants of the competition submitted their home-brewed beers back in July and two finalists were chosen. The homebrew portion of the competition was coordinated and judged by “Beer for Dummies” author and expert Marty Nachel. The chosen finalists have been teamed up with Urban Legend Brewing of Westmont and Flesk Brewing of Lombard to compete for the Illinois Pro-Amateur Brew Championship. The fest will feature food from local food vendors and live music. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Westmont Chamber of Commerce Educational Foundation.
