On the afternoon of Saturday, August 23, the Grandview Craft Beer Alliance will be holding its inaugural Summer Session, featuring session beers from Ohio craft brewers Actual Brewing, Four String, Hairless Hare, Homestead, Hoof Hearted, Maumee Bay, North High, Seventh Son, Sideswipe, Smokehouse, Wolf's Ridge, Zaftig, and Zauber (check the website for the actual beers being brought--several are made special for this event!). The event will be held on the lawn at the Southeast corner of Goodale and Grandview in Grandview Heights. Buckeye Canning will be on hand and will be giving homebrewers the opportunity to can their own beer. Food trucks/carts Kenny's Meat Wagon and Sticky Finger will be selling food, as will grilling dynamos ManBQue Columbus and pie maven Honeykiss Bakery. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket and sit in the grass on a nice summer afternoon and taste some light, summery session beers. Tickets are limited (especially for those who want to can their homebrews) and are sold in advance only.
