6th Annual Beer and Wine Tasting Fundraiser in the spirit of a German Oktoberfest
Kernersville Oktoberfest 2016 features fantastic local food and beverages inspired by German tradition! Come enjoy seasonal beers and wines in our festive atmosphere, all contributing to a great community cause!
Kernersville Oktoberfest will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 4-7 pm on the lawn at Körner’s Folly. Must be 21+ to attend. All proceeds benefit Historic Körner’s Folly.
Local restaurants volunteer their time and energy to have delicious German-inspired goodies on hand for sampling. In previous years, the event featured delicious goodies, such as: bratwurst on the grill, german potato salad, pumpkin spice cupcakes, pretzel sliders, and much more! Craft beer enthusiasts can look forward to sampling German, Oktoberfest, and Pumpkin brews!
Early bird are tickets $25 (must be purchased before September 1, 2016 @ 5pm); after September 1, 2016, tickets are $30. Tickets are subject to sell out prior to the event, so we recommend purchasing your tickets as soon as possible. The purchase of a ticket provides each individual with a wristband, a commemorative tasting glass, and a complimentary tour of Historic Körner’s Folly.
Ticket holders can tour Körner’s Folly during public tours the weekend of Oktoberfest: Friday, September 30, 2016 10am – 4pm; Saturday, October 1, 2016 1pm – 4pm; or Sunday, October 2, 2016 1-4pm. Tours are self-guided and take approximately 1 hour. Food and beverage vendors will start serving promptly at 4pm. We recommend arriving around 3:00 p.m. on Saturday to tour the house, and then you will be ready by 4 p.m. for food and beverages. No one will be permitted to enter the house after 4 p.m., once food and beverages are being served.
