A celebration of flight and beer, OBX Brewtag is a one of a kind event not to be missed! Local and regional craft beer garden, local eats, live music, yard games, and of course, the flying kegs are just a few awesome things to look forward to at this year's event. OBX Brewtag is inspired by the whimsical and entertaining Red Bull Flutag. With OBX Brewtag, the general premise is the same, although rather than human-powered aircrafts, Brewtag contestants will be competing to see who's homemade flying contraption can launch and fly an empty 1/6 keg barrel the furthest. Brewtag is a free and family (and dog) friendly event! Beer cards to enter the garden and game tickets will be sold separately. Beer cards are $15 for either 4 full beers or 12 tastes. All proceeds for OBX Brewtag benefit The Rogallo Foundation, a non profit organization with the mission to protect the history and advance the future of low speed free flight. Want to create a team?! You don't need to be an engineer to participate in OBX Brewtag.. just need need to have a thirst for fun! With a very limited number of spots, team entries are $25.
