Old Town OctoBEER Fest

A taste of Germany is coming to Winchester with the OctoBeer Fest presented by AireServ, Inc. New this year is an additional third day, extending the celebration of German heritage from Friday to Sunday. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample German-inspired food, beer and wine while experiencing different aspects of the culture. Everyone is invited to compete in the Best Dressed Lederhosen and Dirndl Contest on Friday night. Two new high-energy bands will be featured this year for a pop/rock theme, including the Continentals, a band with a wide repertoire specializing in different ethnic styles of polka and waltz, and Bavarski, playing everything from Chicago-style Polish polka to rockin’ Oktoberfest party music. Also featured are traditional German dancers, craft and merchandise vendors, street performers, dancing and experiences for both children and adults! TIME:  Friday 5 – 11 p.m., Saturday noon – 8 p.m., Sunday (NEW!) 1 – 5 p.m.
