They have appeared on numerous TV shows and have released two albums, with a third coming soon on Comedy Central Records. Pert Near Sandstone One of the highlights of the Minnesota roots music scene, Pert Near Sandstone has shared the stage with Del McCoury, Wilco, Yonder Mountain Strings and appeared on A Prairie Home Companion. Their fifth album, The Hardest Part of Leaving, was released in April.
