What could be better than a brew fest? An oyster and brew festival that's what!!! Oyster Jam is an annual fundraiser held to benefit Phillips Wharf Environmental Center a nonprofit in Tilghman, MD. There's nothing like drinking some great craft beer and eating some delicious oysters to benefit a good cause. Oyster Jam will feature 7 craft breweries that will collectively offer 14 different beers for your tasting pleasure. All the breweries are were chosen because they were in our surrounding region. We want to keep this as Maryland and surround area as possible. Featured Breweries: -Eastern Shore Brewery -RAR -EVO -Fordham -Blue Earl -Bold Rock -Devil's Backbone So far, 8 oyster companies from all over Maryland have agreed to have their oysters at Oyster Jam. Come get a taste of how oysters grown in different areas of the Bay and its estuaries have a different flavor. Oysters will be both aquaculture grown and wild caught to highlight how both disciplines can work side by side to offer profitable future harvests for everyone. Oysters will be offered raw, fried, steamed, in stew, and in signature dishes offered by select local restaurants.
