Building off the success of some of the country’s best beer festivals, the Tri-Cities Craft Beer Week takes place April 1st – 9th , 2016. (#TriBeer). Tri-Cities Craft Beer Week is an nine-day celebration inspiring people to drink local, craft beer & cider, and promoting the region’s thriving brewing culture with multiple events happening throughout the week. With the Tri-Cities leading Tennessee in breweries & cideries per capita, this is one of the fastest growing craft beer regions of the country. Tri-Cities boasts 7 local breweries and averages more breweries per capita than 75% of the US cities. Damascus Brewing Company, Depot Street Brewing Company, Gypsy Circus Cider Company, Holston River Brewing Company, Johnson City Brewing Company, JRH Brewing Company, Olde Glade Brewing Company, Sleepy Owl Brewing Company, Studio Brew, Wolf Hills Brewing Company; Yee Haw Brewin Company along with more planning to open in 2016. Tri-Cities has gained a craft beer reputation with an array of craft beer festivals, along with having two of the festivals being named ‘Top 5 Beer Festival in the US’ and ‘Best 7 Oktoberfests in the US’.
