Vermont JerkFest Rum & Brew Tasting

“Eat, Drink and Be Irie” Vermont JerkFest Rum & Brew Tasting is a kickoff event on Friday, August 5, 2016, 7 pm - 10 pm, for The Vermont Jerkfest & Reggae Festival on Saturday, August 6, 11 am - 7 pm. The spicy weekend will start with local brews, local spirits, and delicious Caribbean food and reggae music at the River Garden on 157 Main Street, downtown Brattleboro. The evening is a prelude to the festival on the next day and offers tastings of local Caribbean fare and libations, including local craft beer, cider, and artisan beverages as well as local and international spirits, and cocktail demos. Specialty foods such as hot sauces, and other delectables will be for sale along with many items from craft vendors. Live music will be accompanied by DJ Natty Kool, who will warm up the crowd for a hot weekend. This is an age 21+ event.
