Westside Fest

The 2nd Annual Westside Fest presented by Superfly Fabulous Events - part of Asheville Craft Beer Week - is coming for an encore on May 24th in West Asheville. The Westside Fest is a West Asheville Neighborhood craft beer and craft cider festival, from 1:30 – 5:00 pm and includes West Asheville’s own Altamont Brewing Company, Oysterhouse Brewing Company, Wedge Brewing Company and New Belgium Brewing. In addition to these favorite local (or soon to be local) brewers, several home-grown cider makers will be there including Urban Orchard Cider Co., Noble Cider and Black Mountain CiderWorks, West Asheville’s Blue Kudzu Sake and Kombucha Ales from Lenny Boy’s Kombucha, all pouring their wares as well. The ticket includes unlimited samples of cider and brews for these West Asheville favorites. The NC Harvest-Thyme Food Co-op will be there pressing fresh apple cider, helping to make this a casual, family friendly event, with both fresh pressed apple cider and Kombucha available as non-alcoholic options for festival goers. The West Side BBQ will be available with smoked BBQ pork on an outdoor smoker. In addition, The Hop Ice Cream Café’ will amazing craft beer ice cream including New Belgium Abbey, the Altamont Porter Crunch and Sorbet made with cider from Urban Orchard.
